Tom Russell is a singer-songwriter that's been doing it for a long time. He's from LA but he luxuriates in all kinds of western styles from cowboy folk to Tex-Mex delicacies. He may or may not be your cup of tea but I dig him, he likes to tell stories in his songs and they're usually funny and clever. The audio is pretty good here from a live show last year.
