It's taken quite a few relistenings, but I'm just about into this band now. Took me a long time to figure out what the fuss was about.I hear it's more obvious if you see them live.
I know what you mean, I went back and forth on that album before I decided I liked it. My Morning Jacket is a bit like that too: they're so idiosyncratic that it takes a while to decide if its something you actually like.
