Super Bowl forecast

Colts -5
Saints 57

The notion that the Colts are a vastly superior team and will blow out the Saints simply does not work for me. The Saints are going to score--book it! The Colts secondary isn't that strong and with Dwight Freeney less then 100%, that Colt pass rush won't be optimal. (Incidentally look for the Saints to run the ball right at Freeney--see how the ankle feels while he's backpedaling on it!) The Saints D, on the other hand, won't touch Manning but they are a bit more opportunistic than the Colts D and if Peyton throws picks, then the Saints could win big. I can see the Saints jumping out to an early lead, maybe even a big lead, but I like Peyton Manning to come back late and win it at the end. This game will not be a blowout (unless crazy turnovers are involved), both teams will score points and this will be one of the more memorable Super Bowl games ever. I like the Saints to cover, Colts to win, and the over. Colts 34-31.
